About Us
Clearwater Organic Dairy Ltd was founded by Bryan and Jackie Clearwater, and Catherine and Ad Sintenie. The partnership combines the experience of many years of organic farming with over 25 years of food processing; a mutual respect for the environment and a shared philosophy in the way food should be produced.
Bryan and Jackie Clearwater, the owners of Peelview farm, have been working hard to convert a previous sheep and beef farm into a healthy and productive certified organic dairy farm. Both Bryan and Jackie are actively involved in the everyday running of the farm, milking cows all year round.
Bryan and Jackie live on the farm with their 2 children Sam and Rose.
Catherine and Ad Sintenie live just down the road and have two (almost) grown up children, Anna and Jan. They immigrated to New Zealand in 1986 after falling in love with the country and each other.
Ad is the yoghurt maker, a skill he learned over 25 years ago when training and working in the dairy industry in Holland and doing a stint, working for a farm-dairy in the Lakes District in the UK.
Catherine teaches at a small Primary School, also just down the road.
